Ekata is a Pharmaceutical Advisory company that provides support to product licensing processes, technology transfer and engineering projects with a focus on public and private Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industry.
The company operates in government projects that stimulate Public-Private Partnerships in the most varied models, including the new tools available in the Legal Framework for Innovation.
It has experience in conducting projects that require combining of public or private resources to innovation. The company is able to provide all the support from registration to monitoring the implementation and being responsible for supporting the governance of the entire process.
It maintains close partnership with international companies capable of bringing innovative technologies, including all advice during the technological absorption process.

Technical Director
Pharmacist, graduated from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), Habilitation in Industrial Pharmacy from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and specialist in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Instituto Racine. Career officer of the Aeronautics Pharmacists staff with more than 30 years of experience in the public and private industry, working in the management of pharmaceutical plant construction projects, modernization of productive facilities, specifications of utilities and equipment for the most varied production lines delivering projects with Turnkey design.
Luan De Angelis
Mechanical Engineer
Mechanical Engineer, graduated from CEFET/RJ - Federal Center for Technological Education Celso Suckow da Fonseca, works in the elaboration of industrial projects, manufacturing and quality control of equipment for the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnological Industry, elaboration and development of Turnkey projects, has experience in monitoring the Factoring Acceptance Test (FAT) of industrial equipment ensuring the correct performance in the productive plants.
Technology Transfer
We search for technologies for the production of pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, vaccines and blood plasma products, negotiate licenses and technologies, develop strategies, plan, support and management of technology transfer.
We offer cell lines and processes for the production of biosimilars at different stages of development, as well as complete complete processes ready for use. Most products are already on the market or in clinical trials.
We make available for Technology Transfer various biotechnology platforms: Mammalian Cell-based Protein Expression, Yeast Cell-based Protein Expression, Bacterial Cell-based Protein Expression, Albumin and Immunoglobulin fractioning and Vaccine Platform.
Pharmaceutical Brokering
Our services include the search for pharmaceutical products, biosimilars and synthetic medicines. We represent our clients and negotiate product pricing, manufacturing pricing, licensing, registration and productive arrangements.
Turnkey Projects
Due to our close cooperation with companies specialized in Turnkey projects we are able to deliver complete solutions that may include: project concept development, executive project, utilities installations (compressed air, cold water, air conditioning, steam etc.), equipment, processes and products.
